Hi, my name is Krishna, and I’m a freelance massage therapist.

After several years of offering Ayurveda and Tantra massages, I have developed a fusion massage technique that provides my clients the best of both worlds: a sensually healing massage.

Sri Lankan Ayurveda is ancient offshoot of traditional Indian Ayurveda that has evolved to make excellent use of the medicinal resources of this biodiversity hotspot of an island. I belong to a family of traditional Ayurvedic doctors, and learned the basics from my grandfather, who was a renown Ayurvedic physician for many decades until his death in 2002.

I still remember his beautiful collection of ola leaf manuscripts which contained various ayurvedic cures and recipes. While I always respected my grandfather and admired his profession, I never took it up myself, opting for a more promising education and career in a different field. It was only after his death that I developed an interest in Ayurveda, especially in Ayurvedic massage. It is not a job for me, but a passion and a hobby, and a continuation of a family tradition.

I’m 33-years old, and live in Suburban Colombo. I have a small but loyal clientele who appreciate the calm and relaxing way I conduct my massages, and many of those clients have become my good friends. I have also offered my services during my frequent visits to Europe, as well as Singapore and Malaysia.
